Hello and welcome to my page! I’ve been meaning to create a personal site for a while now. Growing up, I failed to grok the importance of having one. But now that I am an author, I see its value.

I’m a nobody. I wrote and self-published a book that needs a second edition popped out called Dreams of Pelagy. It’s available on Amazon currently, but again, I am going to be working on a second edition for it. As of writing this (27 November 2023) I’m enrolled in a MFA program through SNHU. This program has taught me that my old writing sucks. Not sucks a little, sucks a lot. My beta readers liked what I wrote, but now when I go back and reread it, I go “Oh, what mistakes I’ve made…” when I read not the content, but the writing itself.
TL;DR: Story Good, Writing Bad.

Right! Sorry. My name is G. A. Borrero. You can call me Gab if it’s easier for you. I am a stay-at-home parent based in NYC; I have a spouse and a daughter. My employment has primarily been in the tech field with my last job being employment as a Software Engineer Consultant for a Dutch company. My Bachelor’s degree came from CUNY and is in the tech field. I was even pursuing a Masters in Data Science from CUNY before I switched paths altogether to chase my dreams instead of big dollars.
When I’m not contending with my writing or my family, I’m playing games of all kinds – PC, Switch, and Tabletop! I used to be a GM and still occasionally dabble in GMing a small selection (Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition, Pathfinder 1st Edition, GURPS 4th Edition, PokeRole, Iron Valley) of TTRPGs, though these days it is all over Discord text.
